Maxine Seymour Bessler Wanatah, IN Maxine Seymour Bessler, age 85, of Wanatah, IN, died 9:15 PM Friday, December 26, 2003 at Porter Memorial Hospital, Valparaiso, IN. Born in Monon, IN on Sept 22, 1918 to the late Albert and Martha (Akers) Kellenberger. In 1937 she married Harold Seymour who preceded her in death in 1944 then married in 1963 to Clyde Bessler who preceded her in death in 1972. Survivors are daughters, Peggy Sue (David) Reno-Rock Wall of TX and Marian Wentz of Culver, IN; sons Jerry (Wilma) Seymour of Hamlet, IN and Don Bessler of N. Liberty, IN; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren; sister Patricia Milam of Lake Station, IN; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by parents, son, Deloss Seymour, and four sisters, Geneva Margaret Betty and Dorothy. Services 11:00 AM Tuesday, December 30, 2003 at the Cutler funeral home with Greg Culver officiating. Interment, Monon Cemetery in Monon, IN. Visitation Monday 4 to 8 PM and Tuesday 10 to 11 AM at Cutler Funeral Home, 2900 Monroe St., LaPorte, Indiana. She was a punchpress operator at Kaiser Aluminum for 25 years. Memorials to the Visiting Nurses Assoc. or Charity of Donor's Choice.
