Donna Louise Clagg Andersen, age 64, of Weiser went to be with her heavenly father Tuesday, July 11, 2006, at home after a courageous battle with cancer. Donna was born is Long Beach, Calif. on June 19, 1942 to Verna and Ellis Oney. She met Paul David Clagg in Shelby, Ohio and they were married on April 4, 1958. To this union were born three sons Paul, Randall, and Todd. Donna and Dave raised their children in Ohio and Idaho, finally settling in Weiser. Dave died Dec. 7, 1995 Donna married Paul C. Andersen on May 9, 1998. She loved nature and the outdoors. Her favorite pastime was gardening and caring for the birds. She loved to travel and spent many happy days camping with family in the Hells Canyon wilderness. Donna, LPN spent her last working years as the manager of Home Health at Weiser Memorial Hospital. Donna was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, two sisters and a great-grandson. She is survived by her husband Paul C., brother Charles Roberts, sisters Judy Marche and Mabel Robison, her children Paul A. and wife Beverly Clagg of Council, Randall R. and wife Wanda Clagg of Payette, and Todd E. Clagg of Weiser along with nine step-children. She leaves eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held Friday, July 14, 2006 at 2 p.m. at Thomason Funeral Home. Interment at Hillcrest Cemetery will follow.
