Owner, for over four decades, of Zachary All Men's Retail Clothing Store, located at 5467 Wilshire Blvd. (@ the NE cor of S. Dunsmuir Ave.) in the Miracle Mile Historic District in Mid-City area of the City of Los Angeles. He was a stable and renowned regular fixture of L.A. area television station commercial advertisements toting his business establishment. He would regularly espouse the lines of clothing sold to include "Cadet, Extra Short, Regular, Long, Extra Long and Portlies." Later he increased his business from retail to wholesale. The store was christened Zachary All as a derivation from a combination of names of the motion picture actor Zachary Scott (known on screen for his suave attire) and All laundry detergent (in that it could do it "all"). In 1972 the Frank Zappa and The Mothers of Invention song, "Eddie, Are You Kidding Me?" from the live rock album "Just Another Band from L.A.", gave homage to him inspired by one of his tag-line catchphrases when questioned on the prices of the new double-knits ("My friends all ask me, 'Eddie, are you kidding?' And I tell them, 'No, my friend, I am not kidding'"). Today a Walgreen's Pharmacy occupies the site of the former clothing store.
