Birth: 1934
Death: Oct. 4, 2006

Actor. A versatile actor of commercials, stage and screen, Janson had roles in "The Blues Brothers", "The Kill Reflex/Soda Cracker", "Blink", "While You Were Sleeping", "My Best Friends Wedding", "Road To Perdition" and "Normal". His television credits include "The Untouchables", "Early
Edition", "Unsolved Mysteries" and "Today in Chicago". He was a familiar fixture to Chicago households as the pitchman during station drives at Chicago's WTTW-Ch. 11. He was onstage at the
Victory Gardens Greenhouse Theater in Chicago doing the play "The Best Man". Twenty minutes into the performance, Janson took his seat on the stage couch in a scene with a fellow actor. He then put his head in his hands. The actor he was onstage with asked if he was ok and Janson said he was not. An ambulance was called and he was rushed to the hospital where he later died as the cause of death was a heart attack.
