Methodist Minister and circuit rider throughout Ohio from the 1830s till the 1870s, and also spent time preaching in Indiana and Michigan, before retiring to Lima Ohio, where he lived over 40 years. Six months before his death, he went to stay with his daughter in Flora Illinois, until his death.
