"Lafayette Gives Honors To Outstanding Alumni Campus. June 30, 1988. The Morning Call. Harley S. Anders of Madison, N.J., and David Styer, Jr., of Riverton, N.J., were honored for distinguished service to Lafayette College and its Alumni Association, and Richard S. Beltram of Livingston, N.J., has been named Outstanding Young Graduate. Anders and Styer are the 1988 recipients of the Joseph Bell, Class of 1928, Alumni Distinguished Service Award for distinguished service by an alumnus. Beltram received the Clifton P. Mayfield Class of 1909 Outstanding Young Graduate Award, given each year to a member of one of the 15 most recent classes. The awards were presented at the college's annual reunion luncheon on June 4. Anders is a 1942 graduate. Styer graduated in 1938. Beltram graduated from Lafayette in 1973."

His father wrote on April 30, 1948 in the Princeton Alumni Weekly: "My son, Harley S. Anders, was married on October 25  to Katherine E, Johnson, of Elizabeth, N.J. He is a chemical engineer, working for Standard Oil Development Co. of Elizabeth, N.J. My other son, James M., was a captain in Infantry in last war, and is father of a 3 1/2-year-old boy, my only grandchild."
