Diane Vandeveer Black, 60, of Sullivan died 1:25 a.m. Sunday (July 28, 2002) in the Sullivan Health Care Center.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday in the Reed Funeral Home, Sullivan with Pastor Leonard Moore officiating. Visitation will be one hour before services. Burial will be in the Arthur Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the family.
Diane was born February 7, 1942, in Mattoon, the daughter of Charles W. and Doris Bratton Vandeveer. She was a homemaker and a member of the Jonathan Creek Christian Church.
Surviving are her mother, Doris Vandeveer of Sullivan; sons, Charles Black of Sullivan, Michael Black of Maryland; daughter, Shari Carr of Sullivan; sister, Elizabeth Stutler of Pennsylvania; special friend, Darrell England of Sullivan; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father and a brother.
