Funeral services for Mr. Edward W. Bell, 77, of Battle Creek, MI, were conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 30, 1999, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home with Rev. Newsome Harvey officiating. Burial was in Green Hill Cemetery in Alpine with Speck Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Bell, a retired machine operator, died Wednesday, May 26, 1999, in Battle Creek, MI.

Born December 8, 1921, in Stager, IL, he was the son of the late Kate Miller.

He was a member of 1st Presbyterian Church in Battle Creek, MI, a member of Ira Beck Lodge #503, and past commander of Sgt. Donovan L. Fisher Chapter 121.

Survivors include his wife, Opal Norris Bell, Battle Creek, MI; a daughter, Karen Hasler, Troy, MI; and two granddaughters, Amy Hasler and Katie Hasler.

Pallbearers were James C. Winton, James T. Winton, Luke Roy, Kyle Roy, Glenn Winton, and Aaron Winton.
