The daughter of Daniel J.Peckham and Susan Lucretia Burdick Peckham, she married Eugene Feathers 2/1/1910, with whom she had Eugene P.;Leslie;Alice[d3/20/05];Helen[d7/25/00]; Edith[d11/04]. After his tragic death in 1919 she married AI Bonesteel with whom she had Mervale Orville Bonesteel in 1924. D 8/5/2019

She was a twin to Edith[Wagar],sister to Chester,Milo Reid, Daniel,Everett,Minnie[Boomhower],Susie[Hayner],Nellie[Hyde],Satie[Wagar].Her maternal grandfather was Samuel Cutler Burdick, 125th NY VOL, who died at Andersonville prison, as a POW. Ethel Peckham Feathers was a direct descendant of John Peckham, an Archbishop of Canterbury[1279-1292];Sir George Peckham,a merchant adventurer;also on her mother's side , John Cutler of England who came to Hingham MA @1637;Rev Samuel Skelton,1629 the first minister in the Massachusetts Bay Colony,Puritan church;Ezekiel Cheever, the famed headmaster of the Boston Latin School; Robert Burdick and Ruth Hubbard who came to American @1626, bringing the Seventh Day Baptist religion;. Through Judith Ives Westervelt,her paternal great grandmother, she is related to the Westervelt[Lubbertsen] of Holland @1662 arrival on the HOOP and the Van Schaik-Quackenbush-Knickerbocker,the Knickerbockers of Schagticoke, NY, Dutch lineage.Her Ives direct lineage is traced to William Ives and Hannah Dickerman who came in 1635 on the TRUELOVE from England and helped found New Haven Colony.
