Her funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Hopedale United Methodist Church, the Rev. Millie Peters officiating. Burial will be in Prairie Rest Cemetery, Delavan.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Davis Mortuary, Hopedale, where an Eastern Star service will be at 8 p.m.
She was born Aug. 24, 1915, at Hopedale, the daughter of Jonas and Ida Miller Nafziger. She married Melvin Meins Aug. 14, 1937, at Covington, Ind. He died in 1967.
Survivors include one son, Mark L. Meins, Bloomington; one daughter, Melinda Nybakke, Bloomington; one brother, Duane Nafziger, Fort Myers, Fla.; four sisters, Gertrude Birky, Hopedale; Delora Wharrie, Bloomington; Marzella Rasmussen, Fort Myers, Fla; and Donna Miller, Sun City, Ariz.; and three grandchildren.
A brother preceded her in death.
She was a member of Hopedale United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women. She was a member of Hopedale American Legion Auxiliary, and the Order of Eastern Star Chapter 115 at Delavan.
She was a telephone operator in Delavan during the 1940s.
Memorials may be made to her church or the American Cancer Society.
