Residence Hancock County, GA.
Enlisted on 7/15/1861 at Sparta, he was mustered into "K" Co. GA 15th Infantry as a Private.
Mortally Wounded In Action 5/6/1864 in the Battle of The Wilderness.

The 15th Georgia Infantry Regiment, organized in the spring of 1861 at Athens, Georgia, contained men from Hancock, Stephens, Elbert, Lamar, Warren, Wilkes, Taliaferro, and Oglethorpe counties.
