June L. Bauers, 83, of Terre Haute died Wednesday afternoon, Sept. 13, 2006, at Southwood Health and Rehabilitation Center in Terre Haute.

She was born June 1, 1923, in Vigo County to Charles Kneuver and Mildred Stough Kneuver. Her husband of almost 35 years, Kenneth Bauers, passed away last October. Survivors include two sons, Mike Clements and his wife Cheryl of Terre Haute and Ron Clements and his wife Vickie of Clinton; a daughter, Janice Bryant and her husband Joe of Fort Wayne; a stepson, Robert Bauers and his wife Mary Ann of Brazil; 12 grandchildren, Matt and Rachel, Cory, Dylan, Mason, Jameson, Ryan, Tim, Bobby, Robert Jr., Patty and Helen; and six great-grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Cheryl Church; a brother, Charles Kneuver; and two sisters, Helen Thompson and Mary Erwin. She was a member of Eagles Lodge 291, and the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 85.

Funeral services and visitation were held Saturday, Sept. 16, 2006, in Roselawn Funeral Home. Burial was in Roselawn Memorial Park.
