Wilda H. Abbott, 93, of Summit, died November 18, 2011 at her residence. She was born on April 22, 1918, in Pike County to the late Lawrence Hayman and Delia Guy Hayman.

Mrs. Abbott was retired from Kellwood Co. and she was a member of Pisgah United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Herman Abbott; a daughter in law,Brenda Abbott; sister and brother in law, Ethel Williams and June Williams.

She was survived by her son, Joseph Abbott, Sr.;grandchildren, Joseph Abbott,Jr., John Monroe Abbott and his wife Millie, Rebecca Zotti and her husband Nic; Great Grandchildren, Rachelle Raimer, Brittany Pigott, and James Abbott; Great Great Grandson,Rylan Pigott.

Visitation will be Sunday, November 20th from 5-7 PM at Hartman-Sharkey Funeral Home and will continue on Monday from 12 noon till service time in the Chapel at 2 PM. Interment will be at Hollywood Cemetery with Rev. Dr. Cynthia Weems and Rev. Larry Wallace officating.

Pallbearers will be Paul Moak, James Abbott, Kevin Brumfield, Lawrence Weems, Ronnie Whittington, and Joey Dykes. Honoray Pallbearers are Lovett Weems III, Johnny Dykes, Ernest Whittington, Robert Whittington, Jerry Warren, John Abbott, and Nic Zotti.
