Sandra Yvonne Brown, 62, departed this life on Friday, April 22, 2016.
She was born to the late Rosa Scott-Savage and Jeddy Rice in Hampton, Va.
Sandra graduated from Pembroke High School and went on to graduate from Norfolk State University.
She employed by the Department of Defense until she retired.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, two children, John J. Brown III and Tonya A. Brown-Cherry; one sister, Rose M. Scott of Hampton, Va.; one brother, Anthony Scott of Las Vegas; her three grandchildren whom she cherished, Yakira Brown, Sade Brown and Derrick Brown; and a host of
nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Viewing will be held noon to 6 p.m. Friday, April 29, 2016 at Cooke Bros.Funeral Chapel.
The funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, April 30, 2016 at the funeral chapel.
The Interment will follow at Hampton Memorial Gardens.
