Wilbur Angus "Ted" Craig, D.O. grew up in Galesburg, Illinois and attended Knox College. He graduated from the Kirksville College of Osteopathy and Surgery at Kirksville, Missouri in 1929. He was a Staff Physician at the Still-Hildreth Sanitarium at Macon, Missouri until moving to Mountain Grove and establishing his practice there in 1937. He closed his office and officially retired in 1980. He was an avid golfer and was well known in the Missouri golfing circles. He was a former senior amateur state champion and was President of the local golf course board when the clubhouse was constructed. Dr. Craig was interred in Hillcrest Cemetery following cremation under direction of the Craig-Hurtt-Bradley Funeral Home.
