He was raised in Sydney, Austrailia and was brought to the United States in a small brown box covered in comic strip in 1985. He was given to Michealsohn by an Austrailian dog trainer in 1981 and became a full fledge member of the Michaelsohn family. According to the trainer, he was born on March 25, 1972 in Sydney, Austrailia. According to Michaelsohn, he was prone to enjoy the distructive hobby of toilet paper eating like most dogs do as well as hiding and buring money in couch cushions. He was well loved and never bit or harmed people. Ally was the kind of dog that made people smile. He was the "Canine to end all Canines." Upon his death, he was living in San Antonio, Texas.
