Carl Edward Anderson was born August 25, 1949 in Marshall, Texas. He was the son of the late Johnny Newman and Edna Elsie (Davis) Anderson. He had been a resident of Brownwood since 1986. He married Diane Hardman on December 7, 1996 in Brown County. Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife, Diane Anderson of Brownwood; children Mary Jean Paget and husband Jeff, of Vancouver WA, Margaret Rosine and husband Jamie, of Plainfield IN, Janis Roberts and husband Jody, of Camby IN, Michael Anderson and fiancé Lisa, of Brownwood, Misty Kent and fiancé Daniel, of Brownwood, Christopher Jacob Anderson of Brownwood, Trisha Huffines of Gainesville, TX, Robert Huffines of Commerce TX and Tina Minear Jernigan.
He is also survived by his grandchildren; Jacquelyn, Stephanie, Nicholas, Ryon, Zachary, Jonathon, Katy, Corbin, Hannah, Tori, Jada and Allison; great-grandchildren, Zoe, Riley and Kell; and his brother, Troy Shephard.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Johnny and Edna Anderson and a grandson, Dustin.
