The family (except Fen) was living in Merrill, Wisconsin in the April 1940 US Census along with her 64-year-old mother Emma Roloff. By the 1950's they were living in Milwaukee again for their later years of life.
Husband Harold died in April 1955. Linda Cooper died four years later in 1959 at age 62. She was survived by her sons James (Marion) and Robert (Helen) and by grandsons Peter, Richard and David. She was also survived by her mother Mrs. Emma White.
