WARWICK - Jenny V. "Jane"
Baxter, 74, of Samuel Gorton
Avenue died Friday at the home of
her son. She was the wife of George
A. Baxter Jr.
Born in Cranston, a daughter
of the late Walter and Gertrude
(Rudd) Anderson, she lived in
Warwick for 48 years.
Mrs. Baxter was secretary of
Baxter's Crown Liquors.
Besides her husband she
leaves two sons, George A. Baxter III
and Robert C. Baxter, both of
Warwick; two sisters, Edith
Wolfenden of Warwick, and Alice
Tordoff in Florida; a brother Harold
Anderson in Massachusetts, and
three grandchildren.
The funeral service will be
held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the Peter
J. Barrett Funeral Home, 1328
Warwick Ave. Burial will be in
Pawtuxet Memorial Park.
