Nicholas J. Angelilli was born in New York City on January 30, 1943. After graduating high school, he joined the U.S. Air Force and served in the security service. He was attached to the detail that protected then President John F. Kennedy and his wife Jacquelyn. Upon entering civilian life he married Carol Fagella in 1969 and soon had one child Christopher. Nick worked in building management in the "Little Italy" section of New York City. After his retirement, he volunteered in the local hospital and nursing facility. He was also a generous supporter of St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital. Nick's affable personality made him popular with the patients he assisted. His personal interests were many including fishing, bonsai tree collecting, opera and traveling. Nick had a wide collection of antique Victrolas combined with many original Enrico Caruso recordings. He passed away suddenly on January 12, 2014.
