Florence was born and raised,near Quinn, S.D. in the beautiful Black Hills area of S.D. She grew up in a large family during which she learned that living in a large family gave her a sense of adventure, strength, confidence. Married Gale Beck but widowed young in 1956. In 1960 she married Ralph Broderick and became a stay at home mom, widowed again in 1971 she began the challenge of entering the work force once again. She spent the next 10 years working at the gift at the famed Davenport Hotel in Spokane, Wa. Later in life she faced many health challenges never losing her wit and the "Fighting Irish Spirit." That spirit will be by her family , old and new special friends she met the last years of her life. Florewnce is surived by her son Mike, Daughter Pat and Cathy and grandson Ryan and his wife Tiffany and her Grandaughter Shelby and her husband Bill and she is survived by her brothers Bill and Lawrence Connelly.
