THE DEATH OF ESTHER GRACE ADAMS
Clark’s Hill - Mrs. Esther Grace (Sanburn) Adams, 55, died in the family home here at 3 P.M. Wednesday. She had been in failing health for a year. Born in Stockwell, she was educated in the Stockwell schools. She was married in Danville, Illinois, in 1929 to William R. Adams, who survives. She was a member of the Clark’s Hill Methodist church; the Home Hospital Auxiliary; and was past matron of Faith Chapter 193, Order of Eastern Star. She currently was serving as treasurer for the chapter. Surviving with the husband are one daughter, Mrs. Emmitt Tyrell of Clark’s Hill; one son, James at home; her mother, Mrs. Mabel Sanburn of Stockwell; and two brothers, Earl Sanburn of Stockwell and Richard Sanburn of Kokomo. Rev Amos McGinnis officiating. Interment Clark Cemetery, Clark’s Hill. Surviving are four grandsons.
