Albert Aichholz, 54, veteran of World War I & War II, died this morning at the Ross Sanatorium, Lafayette, where he had been confined since March 5. Born at Madisonville, Ohio, he served for 31 years in the navy and was a member of the Lafayette Navy club. Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Clarence Maguire, Lafayette and two half-brothers, Carl and Stanley Aichholz of California. Body at Dickerson funeral home after noon Tuesday with funeral there Wednesday at 10 am. (Lafayette Journal & Courier, April 29, 1946)
