Marion Carol Magnussen (nee Chrysler), was born July 13, 1913 in Osseo, WI, Eau Clair Co., Otter Creek Twp. to Harvey Seymour Chrysler and Olive Evelyn Haskins. She was married to Norman Elias Magnussen on June 8, 1937. They had four children. Marion and her husband lived near New Milford, CN between 1937-1945 before returning to Wisconsin where they purchased a farm and raised dairy cattle for export. Marion died at age 96 in Lake Mills, Wisconsin.

Marion C. Magnussen's grandparents were Philip Sidney Chrysler, born February 26, 1835 in Albany Co., NY, and Elice Maranda Ketchum, born June 26, 1842, Union. New York. Her parents emigrated from New York to Augusta, Wisconsin.

Marion's great-great-grandparents were Philip Chrysler and Marytje Sigsbee of Albany, NY (the latter a sister to Nicholas Sigsbee, the grandfather of Charles D. Sigsbee, Captain of the USS Maine in 1898).
