Born in Watertown, NY on November 5, 1944, a daughter of Roy S. Paro and Florence R. Queal, she attended Holy Family School as well as IHA in Watertown, NY. She married Thomas E. Solar on January 4, 1964 in the Church of the Holy Family, Watertown, NY. The marriage ended in divorce. She married Ronald J. Lewis on April 8, 1981 in Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church, with Fr. Bernard Jacubko, officiating. Mrs. Lewis worked in various nursing homes as well as Mercy Hospital, as a nurses aide. She is survived by two sons, Stephen D. Solar, Ogdensburg, and Michael S. Solar, Philadelphia, PA.; two daughters, Lisa A. Searchfield, Watertown and Shari L. Solar, Watertown; a brother, Thomas D. Paro, Davis, CA; an aunt, Evelyn Queal, Watertown; five grandchildren, a nephew and several cousins. A Mass of the Resurrection was celebrated at the Church of the Holy Family with Fr. Bernard Jacubko, officiating. Burial was in St. Cyril's cemetary, Alexandria Bay. Beloved mother and grandmother.
