Garold A. Barton
Garold A. Barton, a former resident of Centralia for 40 years, died Thursday in Visalia, Calif. where he had lived for 20 years.
Barton was a truck driver and was a Veteran of World War I with the U.S. Army. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans and of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Survivors include two sons, Monte, Centralia and Marvin, Coos Bay, Ore.; 9 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Erma Sparks, Silverdale, Wash.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Mountain View Cemetery. Capt. Gordon Grundahl will officiate. Arrangements are under the direction of Newell-Hoerling's Mortuary.
