GOSHEN -- Paul M. Blosser, 60, of 65385 C.R. 27, died at 10:40 a.m. Tuesday in Fountainview Place, Elkhart, where he had been a patient since June 13. He had been ill for six months.
He was born March 5, 1917, in Ishpeming, Mich., and was a veteran of WW II, and a brick mason employed by Ira Mast Construction Co., Elkhart. On Sept. 3, 1938, he married Waneta Holdeman, who survives with nine sons, Bennett, Joe, David, Tom and Sam, all of Goshen, Steven and Jon, both of Nappanee, Phil, Six Lakes, Mich., and Tim, of Orlando, Fla.; two daughters, Mrs. Bonnie Rowdabaugh, New Paris, and Ms. Debbie Blosser, Goshen; 14 grandchildren; two step-granchildren; two brothers, Fred and John, both of Goshen, and two sisters, Mrs. Don (Betty) Young, Peoria, Ill., and Mrs. Paul (Rosemary) Fry, Bristol.
Friends may call after 7 tonight and all day Thursday in the Reith-Rohrer-Ehret Funeral Home. The body will be taken Friday to the New Paris Missionary Church, which he attended, to lie in state from 12:30 p.m. until the service at 1:30 p.m. The Rev. George Swank will officiate. Burial will be in Violett Cemetery. Memorials may be given to the Mission Department of the church.
