Imigrated from Italy to New York, N.Y. late 1800's. With his wife & young child, moved to Wilmington, N.C. around 1880. Came to work at the Old Brunswick Inn, Southport, N.C. as a musician (Harpist) Drowned near Battery Island across from Southport, NC in a freak boating accident August 23, 1882. It is reported that the spirit of Tony still resides at the old Brunswick Inn to this day & quite frequently makes himself known.
