Charles R. Allred, 70, of Marble, Arkansas, died February 3, 2012 at Meadowview Healthcare and Rehab in Huntsville, Arkansas. He was born September 3, 1941 at Marble, Arkansas, the oldest son of C. R. and Doris Vay Cline Allred. He was a graduate of Kingston High School, a retired machinist for Kimes Auto Supply in Berryville and a member of the Rudd Baptist Church were he served as a Deacon. He was preceded in death by his mother, one grandson, Jacob Thaddeus Allred and his maternal grandparents, Lester and Maggie Cline.

Survivors include: his wife, Jo Beard Allred of the home; two sons and daughters-in-law, Michael Scott and Karen Allred of Glendale, Arizona and Barry Shawn and Janice Allred of Florala, Alabama; his father, C. R. Allred of Marble, Arkansas; one brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Shirley Allred of Marble, Arkansas; four sisters and three brothers-in-law, Barbara and Terry Ware and Brenda Allred, all of Marble, Arkansas, Cathy and Joe Griffith of Prairie Grove, Arkansas and Sammy and Jeff Rector of Japton, Arkansas; three grandsons, Gary Jones, Trevor Allred and Brandon Allred; three granddaughters, Candis Jones, Alexis Allred and Brittany Allred; a special aunt, Mary Lou Tice of Huntsville, Arkansas; and special friends of Meadowview Healthcare who are also family.

Private funeral services will be held under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home brashearsfuneralhome.net of Huntsville with interment in the Liberty Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Scott Allred, Shawn Allred, Bill Allred, Trevor Allred, Terry Ware and Jeff Rector. The family will receive friends from 5:00 P. M. to 7:00 P. M. on Monday at the funeral home.
