Harry Ackert Passes Away
Harry C. Ackert, age forty-six, died at the Northern Dutchess Health Center last week Thursday, Sept. 10th. He had been ill four months. He was formerly employed by the Central Hudson Gas and Electric Co. and before that by the Red Hook Light and Power Co. He is survived by his wife Mary Van Steenburg of Red Hook, his mother, Mary Ackert of New York city, a sister, Mrs. George Lambert of new York city; two brothers, Philip, of White Plains and Stanley of New York city.
Funeral services were held at the Methodist Episcopal church on Sunday afternoon at 2:30. Rev. Congrad E. Metzger officiated.
