Funeral services for Norene Rhodes Aaron, 80, of Cullman, Alabama, were Friday, October 8, 2004 at Cullman Heritage Chapel, Donald Abbott and John McKoy officiating, with burial in the New Prospect Baptist Church Cemetery.
Cullman Heritage Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Aaron died Wednesday, October 6, at her residence. She was born in Cullman County on February 5, 1924 to Ansil P. and Ludie Dollar Rhodes. She was a homemaker and a member of New Prospect Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Arlis Aaron; seven brothers; and four sisters.
Survivors include two sons, James (Brenda) Aaron of Haleyville, and Sidney (Marnice) Aaron of Cullman,; five daughters, Irene (Clyde) Shelton, Evelene (Ronnie) Bobo, Jean (Ricky) Baker, Carol (Donnie) Tiechmiller and Kathy (Kelley) Milligan, all of Cullman; special daughter, Kathy Parson of Cullman; sister-in-law, Ethel Rhodes of Hanceville; brother-in-law, J.O. Campbell of Cullman; 18 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
