Kenneth Jacob Bachman was the first child of Lee and Olive (Harbour) Bachman.
He was born in Dean, Texas on 4 Aug 1930 and died 17 July 2004 in Arlington, Texas.
Kenneth was 73 years old when he died. He was in the Army during the Korean war.
After his service to the US Army he married Dorothy Louise Bardin in Byers, Texas on
23 April 1955. He worked for the Fort Worth and Denver Railroad now known as Burlington
Northern for over 30 years.
Kenneth and Dorothy moved to Memphis, Texas where they raised their four children.
He is survived by his sister, Leola Wells of Jackson Mississippi and a brother, Ambrose Bachman of
He also leaves behind three daughters; Ramona Bachman Woodrum of Plano, Texas,
Andrea Vaughan of Fort Worth, and Kimberly Shannon of Fort Worth. A son; Kenneth
Wayne Bachman of Grand Prairie. Kenneth had 6 grandsons; Brandon Burk, Jay Burk, Robert Shannon,
Hunter Shannon, Michael Alesiani and Seth Bachman. Four granddaughters; Tyra Burk Sherwood, Robyn Burk Shipman, Sarah Bachman and Laura Bachman.
Services were held in Henrietta under the direction of Davis Funeral Home with Rev. Rob Dorman and
Rev. Ricky Guenther officiating. He was buried in the Bachman plot in the Riverside Cemetery in Byers.
Preceding him in death were his wife Dorothy; his parents, Lee and Olive Bachman and step-mother Tillie Bachman.
