Christian Lee Chandler, seven weeks old, Peru, passed away suddenly at 9:35 p.m. on Tuesday, March 4, 2008 at Dukes Memorial Hospital, Peru.

He was born Jan. 9, 2008 in Peru to Ben L. and Crystal L. McElheny Chandler.

He is survived by his parents of Peru; maternal grandparents, Robert E and Vickie L. Schramm McElheny, Denver; paternal grandparents, Deborah M. Chandler, Kokomo, and Thomas C. Chandler, Arkansas; maternal great-grandparents, Patricia S. Slifer, Denver, and her fiancé, Wallace Cooper, Michigan, and Harold E. McElheny and his fiancé, Patricia Floyd, Logansport; paternal great-grandparents, Loretta Chandler, Peru; maternal step great-grandmother, Blanche Schramm, South Carolina; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by grandparents Richard C. Schramm and Betty L. McElheny; a great-grandparent, Thomas C. Chandler Sr.; and several other great-grandparents.

The funeral service will be held 4 p.m. on Saturday at the United Pentecostal Church, 908 E. Broadway, Logansport, with Pastor Dan Schramm officiating.

Friends may call from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday at the church.
