Walter Armentrout, age 79, of Columbus, passed away Thursday, April 6, 2000 at Columbus Rehabilitation & Subacute Institute. Walter was a loving husband, dad and grandpa. He was a U.S. Army veteran of WW II and was in the Invasion of Normandy. Preceded in death by parents Thomas and Alice (Hamrick) Armentrout, brother Ned Armentrout and sister Edith Faulkner.
