Robert W. Aldrich, 70, of Southington, died on January 17, 2001 at New Britain General Hospital. He was the husband of Diane M. (Staubley) Aldrich. He was born on Feb. 28, 1930 in New Britain, the son of the late Harold J. and Ethel (Gottlin) Aldrich. He served his country during the Korean War. Mr. Aldrich retired from Tuttle & Bailey in 1984 where he had worked for 36 years. He was a former resident of New Britain and was a member of St. Thomas Church. Besides his wife, he is survived by his children, Lynn and her husband Stan Carpe of Enfield, Kathleen Aldrich of Plainville, and Robert H. Aldrich of Southington; a brother, Harold Aldrich of Mt. Airy, NC; a sister, Lois Zanetti of New Britain; and several nieces and nephews. Burial will be with Military Honors in St. Thomas Cemetery.
