Louisa was the daughter of Gottlieb and Louisa Hagerbauner. She married John Henry Bruenger, 28 June 1866. Their children were John Gottlieb Bruenger, Cora Wilhelmine "Minnie" Burkle, Hannah Wilhelmine "Minnie" Stange, Ludwig "Louis" Fred Bruenger, Anna Carolina Bruenger, Emma Bruenger, Lidia Bruenger, Henry F. "Hank" Bruenger, August Edward "Ed" Bruenger, and William H. P. "Will" Bruenger.

FORMER QUINCY WOMAN
DIES IN HUMBOLDT, KAN.
Mrs. Henry Bruenger, age 79, a former resident of Quincy, died Sunday in her home in Humboldt, Kansas, of complications after a six months' illness.
Peter Hagerbaumer, 910 Jackson, is a brother, and the late Mrs. Henrietta Woermann of this city was a sister of Mrs. Bruenger, who had many friends in Quincy. The husband, seven children, 10 grandchildren, and one sister, Mrs. Fred Sasing, all of Humboldt, also survive.
