Vincent Brignani Capra
Ex-S.J. Hod Carrier Dies; Wednesday Rites

Vincent Brignani Capra, 74, former San Jose resident, died at the Veterans' Hospital in Palo Alto Saturday after a long illness.

Since his retirement a dozen years ago, he had lived in Hilmar near Turlock.

Born in Sicily, Capra came to San Jose with his family when he was 10 and was reared here. He was a member of the Hod Carriers' Union and the Veterans of Foreign Wars of Mountian View. He was a World War II Veteran.

He was the husband of Melbe Capra of Hilmar, the father of Vincent J. Brignani of Brisbane; brother of John A. Brignani Sr. of Mountian View, Mrs. Mary Biondi of San Jose and Mrs. Isabel Bolcon of Santa Clara.

Services will be Wednesday from the Chapel of Flowers (Denegri-Geoffrey-Iriglia and Salmon.

A Mass of the Resurrection will be offered st St. Leo's Church at 9 O'Clock. Burial will follow in Mission Cemetery in Santa Clara.

Rosary services will be held Tuesday evening at 8 O'Clock at the funeral chapel.
