Irma Beisel, 79, died Oct. 23, 1992, at Indian Creek Nursing Home, where she lived. Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Faith Lutheran Church, Overland Park; burial in Mount Moriah Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the Mount Moriah & Freeman Chapel.
Mrs. Beisal was born in Needville, Texas, and moved to this area 45 years ago. She was secretary for U. S. Domestic and Foreign Commerce. She was a founding member of the Kansas City chapter of the Business and Professional Womens Clubs, Inc. She was a former president of the Kansas City chapter of the National Secretaries Association. She attended Rice University in Houston, the University of Houston, State University of Texas, and the Kansas City Art Institute.
She was a member of the church. She was a member of the Ivanhoe chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star and president of its Business Women of Ivanhoe. Survivors include her husband, Frank Beisel, and a son, Douglas K. Beisel, both of Leawood; a brother; four sisters; grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
