Little Kathy went to sleep on Halloween night
And dreamed she was a princess
At midnight she woke with a terrible fright
To find she was quite hairless
No longer with locks of golden hair,
Kathy, dejected, abandoned her lair
She disappeared that night, to the netherworld
In search of her lost, beloved curls.
Many people now say on Halloween’s Eve
If you’re in the graveyard, alone
And the hairs on your arm are standing on end
The hairless princess is close and she’s calling them home.
