A native of Swain County, She was the Daughter of the late John and Rosie Brendle Bowers.
She was preceded in death by 2 Sons, William Edwards and Nelson Jones.
She is survived by Her Husband, Bobby Bowers; Daughters, Alda Maney, Helen Cockran, and Judith Parris of Bryson City; Sons, Lyle Edwards and Arvile Bowers of Bryson City, Keith Bowers of Sylva NC; Brothers, Mann Bowers of Bryson City, Paul Bowers of Winston Salem, NC; 15 Grandchildren; 10 Great-Grandchildren; and a Great-Great-Grandchild.
Services were at 2pm, Saturday at Bill Moody Funeral Home, Bryson City, with the Rev. Eugene Moore officiating.
The Family received friends from 7 to 9pm at the Funeral Home.
