A recognizable, character actor in B-Westerns, he appeared in over 560 films such as "The Prairie Mystery" (1922), Riders of the Sage" (1939), "Wild Horse Valley" (1940), "Winchester ‘73" (1950), "The Adventures of the Tucson Kid" (1954) and "The Fastest Gun Alive" (1956).
