Bill Forsythe was born January 1, 1936 in Lufkin, Texas at the home of his parents. His parents were Willard E. and Ella Roberta (Franklin) Forsythe. He died Friday July 28, 2006 at his residence.
Bill had resided in Lufkin most of his seventy years. Before retiring in 1995, he was a self-employed Brick Contractor, working in the Lufkin and Nacogdoches area for 38 years. He will be remembered for his many commercial and residential brick structures, and his love of family and the outdoors. He was a charter member of the Council for the Mentally Handicapped. Bill was of the Congregational Methodist Faith.
He leaves behind his wife of 51 years, Myrtice (Gifford) Forsythe. Son, Cary Forsythe. Son, Brent Forsythe. Son, Travis Forsythe and his wife Julie Forsythe. Daughter, Vonda Bearden and her husband Bruce Bearden. Grandchildren, Jennifer, Adrianne and her husband Michael, Caleb, Austin, Kendra, Kaitlyn and Kullen. One great granddaughter, Grace. Bill is now residing in Heaven with his great grandson, Ashton Michael Praditbatuga.
