She was born in Rome, NY a daughter of the late Joseph and Emma (Furgeson) Sebastine.
On July 22, 1933 in Tribes Hill, NY she was united in marriage to John G. Gargiulo. A blessed union of over 52 years Mr. Gargiulo died in 1985.
Josephine was a homemaker but also was a seamstress for many years for several local companies in Utica and also in Arizona. Mrs. Gargiulo was a member of the Clark Mills United Methodist Church. Josephine was the most beautiful and sweetest mother any child could ever hope for. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her; she loved the challenge of puzzles and enjoyed spending her time with her family.
She was predeceased by her husband John in 1985, her siblings, Benjamin, Mabel, Andrew, Esther, Clarence and Kate.
