He was born January 28, 1944 in Lafayette to George Dean and Francis Ruth (Allie) Logan. He was a Brookston High School graduate and worked at Fairfield Manufacturing Co. for 37 years as a facilitator.
Mr. Logan was a member of Federated Church of Brookston and Eagles Aerie 347 of Lafayette. He enjoyed auto racing, football and baseball, especially the Chicago Bears and Chicago Cubs.
Surviving are three sons, Wess L. Logan (Debbie) and Jeff A. Logan (Kay), both of Lafayette and Scott D. Logan (Michelle)of Jacksonville, FL; three brothers, Gary Logan (Frankie) of Griffith, IN, Ron Logan (Sue) of Lafayette and Alan Logan of Delphi. Also surviving are four grandchildren, Ashlynn, Tanner, Wyatt and Jared Logan. Preceded in death by his parents and a grandson, Scott Logan Jr.
