** In Loving Memory of Annie **
Annie will be loved, missed and
remembered forever in the hearts
of all who loved her. Annie was born
in Norway. Farm name not known. Annie
married Johannes Olsen Mellemsdokken,
born in Oppland Norway while living in
Norway. Johannes, Annie and their
infant daughter Anna O. Olsen
immigrated to the USA May 14, 1887.
They took the Anderson Line, the ship
Drammen and arrived in New York Port.
Soon after they arrived to America,
Johannes was tragically killed
when struck by lightening in North Dakota
USA Oct. 15, 1887. Suddenly, Annie was
young widow, living in a new country.
Annie remarried to Johannes's brother
Ole Olsen. Ole had also immigrated from
Norway. Annie married Ole J. Olson in
1888. She kept her late husbands spelling
of her last name Olsen. Some records have
Ole as Olson after immigration. Annie and
Ole spent much of their lives living in
the Mpls MN area. Annie lived in Mpls
when she passed away in 1954. Annie
and Ole had five more children. As of 2014,
all of Annie's children have passed away.
All of the children, Annie and Ole are
buried at Lakewood Cemetery. It is unknown
at this time where Johannes is buried
in Hawley Clay Co. MN. Annie is survived
by many relatives in MN, possibly MN or
North Dakota, Norway and around the USA.
Annie was loved by many.
