Audrey H. Unzeitig, our sweet and sassy mother and grandmother passed peacefully from the arms of her granddaughter into the arms of her Dear Lord Friday, March 4, 2016 at Pathstone Living.

A celebration of her life will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 12, 2016, Northview-North Mankato Mortuary with visitation 1 hour prior to the service.

Audrey was born May 2, 1928 to Clarence and Jennie Radford in Willow Springs, Mo. The family moved to Minnesota Lake when she was 3 years old and later to Mankato where she lived the rest of her life.

She graduated from Mankato High School in 1938. In May of 1939, she married Carl Unzeitig, Sr.

She was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking, baking, sewing, knitting and gardening. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family. She was a member of Morson Ario VFW Auxillary, SS Peter and Paul's Church and Catholic Daughters.

Audrey was preceded in death by her husband, Carl in 1997; daughter-in-law, Kay; parents; one sister; two brothers; as well as Carl's sister and brother in laws.

Our family would like to thank Pathstone Living for the loving care she received over the past 5 years and MCHS Hospice for their compassion and care in her last days.

We'll miss your wonderful hugs, homemade cookies and the special Grandma wave.
