Diane E. Adams, 80, of Rowland Heights, CA passed away on August 21, 2014 in Whittier. Diane is the widow of Gilbert R. Adams, the former longtime band director at Glen A. Wilson High School in Hacienda Heights who passed away in February. Diane was born on June 8, 1934 in Glendale, CA, to Otto and Eleanor Ellingen. Diane's family moved from the Los Angeles area to Santa Barbara when she was in elementary school. She attended Santa Barbara High School, where she met and eventually married her high school sweetheart Gil in 1955, and U.C. Santa Barbara.
