Funeral services for Stanley Wood, 36, formerly of Tulsa, were held at noon July 7 in the Brookhaven Christian Church in Tulsa with the Rev. Kim C. Hanes officiating. Burial was in the Floral Haven Cemetery in Broken Arrow.

Mr. Wood was born Oct. 12, 1956, the son of Hubert and Mary Catherine Wood. He died Thursday July 1, 1993 in Murray, KY.

He was the owner of Stan Wood Dog Obedience Training and a member of the 1st United Methodist Church in Murray. He attended public school in Tulsa and graduated from Northeastern State University in Tahlequah with a major in Tourism. He was Eagle Scout Troop No. 4 leader and a former scout executive in Littlefield, TX.

Survivors include his wife, Sarah Bane Wood, formerly of Sallisaw; and parents, Hubert and Mary Catherine Wood.

Pallbearers were Stan Callahan, Larry Hash, and Paul Bradney. Arrangements were made under the direction of Moore Memory Chapel in Tulsa.
