Dexter William Bolin, 87, of Jefferson City, formerly of New Market, passed away Sunday, Oct. 27, 2013, at Jefferson Memorial Hospital. He was a member of Friends View Baptist Church and a retired employee of New Jersey Zinc and the city of New Market.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Eliza Ruth Franklin Bolin; parents, Ruth and Raymond Bolin; sister, Juanita Watkins; brothers, Wayne, George and Haskell.
Survivors include daughters, Connie Bolin, Chelsea Bolin, both of Jefferson City; stepdaughter, Martha Bennett of Jefferson City; grandson and wife, Todd and Shelley Bolin of Jefferson City; great-grandchildren, Lexi, Gage and Kendra; sisters, Dorothy Banks of Jefferson City, Mary Ruth Youngs of Indiana; a very special niece, Kim Vaughn; and several other nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 8 p.m. Wednesday in Fielden Chapel with the Rev. Gerald Hodge officiating. Interment will be 11 a.m. Thursday in Jefferson Memorial Garden.
