Janetta B. Klock, 85, Peru, passed away at 9:15 a.m. Thursday, February 9, 2012 at Miller's Merry Manor in Peru. She was born February 28, 1926 in Harbor Springs, Michigan to Thomas H. and Lenora (Wifong) Ford, both deceased. She was married to Edward L. Klock, and he preceded her in death in 1961.
Janetta was formerly employed at Marty's Cafe, Circus City Cafe, and Maverick's Lounge. She was a former member of the Moose, VFW, and American Legion auxiliaries.
Survivors include a daughter, Patrica A. (Daniel) Davis of Peru; sons Harold J. Klock of Peru, Michael W. (Mary) Klock of Anderson, Arthur (Kathy) Klock of Kokomo; grandchildren Jennifer (Terry) Gunter, Christina and companion Justin Patterson, Billie Davis and companion Blake Hull-Cochran, Penny Townsend, and Michael Klock.
She was also survived by a brother, June Ford of Pellston, Michigan, and a sister-in-law, Lillian (Doyle) Holmes of Peru. Jaanetta was precede in death by per parents, her husband, a brother Hank Ford, a son, Douglas Klock, a daughter Betty Lou Klock, and two sisters, Violet Memmert and Vinetta Kilpatrick.
There will be no funeral service, but visitation will be held 4-7 p.m. Monday, February 13, 2012 at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, 105 W. Third Street, Peru. Love offerings may be made to the family.
